Quick shout out to Endangered Speeches for having an excellent and simple webpage!
Key things I like:
1. The band’s vibe is instantly apparent. You can see who they are, what they represent, and what they do very quickly.
2. The bio is short, to the point, and gets across the essence of the band. Also, it has a really cool visual element with the map of the world which says way more than words!
3. Easy to find facebook, twitter, and youtube links that stay with you as you click around the page.
4 The blog is up to date and demonstrates that they’re active, without overdosing me in irrelevant nonsense.
5. It’s easy to find their contact info!
6. THE TOTALLY MOST SUPER AWESOME BEST PART: The music player is easy to find, doesn’t auto-play, and stays with me and keeps playing when I click around the page. Yes!
There are some things that could be improved (eg: band picture at the top is big and ever present, meaning I always have to scroll down to see the content I want, and it could be made to look more professional), but all-in-all it’s solid. Bands: this a good example of how you don’t need to be super fancy and invest lots of money to make a good site.

DEAR BAND PART II - Forcing me to add an app to facebook to listen to your music…
is once again a GUARANTEE that we won’t be listening to it.
Putting up barriers between possible fans, let alone important powerful career making industry people like me «ed note: I couldn’t type that without cracking up, I’m so not important in the general scheme of things»… er anyway dorky rock n’ roll junkies who book nightclubs «that’s more like it» anyway - putting barriers between your music and people is not a smart career move.
Don’t do it. Make me love you and then I’ll “LIKE” you but I’ll probably never install an app on facebook just to listen to your music.

DEAR BAND - Forcing me to “LIKE” your page before I can listen to your music…
is a virtual guarantee that I won’t listen to it.
Get real - people will either like you or they won’t AFTER they hear you and determine if they actually do literally LIKE your music.
Forcing them to click that they like your page so you can boost your numbers means you are bullshitting yourself and the world into believing you have fans, but those people couldn’t care less about you.

BANDS - Do You Have A Music Player On Your Webpage?
If you do - make sure it stays static on the page so that clicking from page to page on your site will not stop the music from playing.
Just a friendly little tip from someone who listens to your music for a living.
